Project Description

Road safety is important.

That does not always make it interesting.

Toyota Indonesia wanted to take a familiar seat-belt message beyond another static awareness campaign.

RHAD turned the lesson into a challenge people could play—making safety more active, competitive and memorable.

Our Impact

The experience delivered one safety message through two game modes.

A desktop version allowed individual play, while a showroom mode connected two tablets in a head-to-head challenge.

The campaign turned safety education into something participants could do, not simply read.

Our Challenge

  • Make a familiar safety message feel fresh.
  • Create an experience suited to both desktop and showroom use.
  • Keep the interaction simple enough to reinforce one clear idea.

Our Solution

We built a safety game for desktop and tablet.

The desktop version offered a straightforward single-player challenge.

For Toyota showrooms, two tablets were synchronised so participants could compete and the game could reveal a winner.

The mechanics added speed and participation without distracting from the message at the centre of the experience: buckling up.

Instead of asking people to observe another safety reminder, the campaign invited them to take part in one.

Toyota made road safety more memorable by giving people something to play—and one message to take away.
