Project Description

The Singapore Slammers needed tournament attention before the tournament had momentum.

The task was to grow awareness, create daily fan conversation and drive interest in tickets and VIP packages.

RHAD built the launch around a simple idea: give fans more reasons to follow the action before the first match began.

Our Impact

The fanbase grew by 900%, rising from 2,400 to 22,000.

Campaign content generated 61,000 likes, while the ticket link received 2,178 clicks.

The campaign also added more than 5,600 Twitter followers, giving the tournament a far larger audience before play began.

Our Challenge

  • Build excitement before live tournament action was available.
  • Turn social attention into ticket interest.
  • Keep fans talking throughout the lead-up to the event.

Our Solution

We treated the build-up as part of the tournament.

Pre-event content created anticipation, while rich-media assets made the action feel closer before players arrived on court.

Player takeovers gave fans direct access to the personalities behind the competition.

Across posts, replies and paid advertising, one message kept the journey clear: “See it. Feel it. Book it.”

This turned the social launch into both a fan-building campaign and a route to ticket sales.

The Singapore Slammers did not wait for the tournament to create momentum. They built the crowd before the first serve.
